Yes, I know that President Trump said he will be looking into the case of former US Army Green Beret Major Matthew Golsteyn. I wish that President Trump would heed our calls for justice in the case of already incarcerated US Army 1LT Clint Lorance.
When I think about Major Golsteyn being charged with pre-meditated murder in a combat zone of a known Islamic terrorist bomb maker, well, why not then issue speeding tickets at the Daytona 500?
What adds salt into the very deep wounds of Golsteyn and Lorance is that our own US Army has done unscrupulous things in order to prosecute these young men. In the case of 1LT Lorance, the Army JAG officers withheld exculpatory evidence that would have easily exonerated Clint. Why is it that Army deserters and traitors like Bowe Bergdahl and Bradley Manning walk the streets freely? What is happening in the Army that I love, in which I served?
Yes, I know about Army betrayal.
For me, it is reprehensible when our warriors must not only face the enemy of the deployed battlefield but also at home. I want to share with y’all a story that is appalling, disgusting, and despicable on so many levels.
As reported by Philly Mag:
“Nearly one month after we told you that two U.S. Marines Corps reservists said they were attacked in Old City on November 17th near the controversial “We the People” rally, the two suspects and their accusers appeared in a Philadelphia courtroom on Thursday morning.
The Marines, Alejandro Godinez and Luis Torres, both testified in uniform about the incident, while three Marine officers, including their commanding officer, stood in the gallery. The suspects, Thomas Massey and Tom Keenan, who have been linked to Antifa on websites and social media, sat together with their individual lawyers and did not speak.
The Marines, who are not from the Philadelphia area, said that they had traveled to the city with other members of their helicopter unit, headquartered at Fort Dix, to attend a Marine event that night at a local hotel ballroom. They said that they had no knowledge of the nearby rally, which drew members of the alt-right as well as a large number of counter-protestors, Keenan and Massey reportedly among them.
According to the Marines’ testimony, they were touring historical landmarks near Front and Chestnut streets when suspect Thomas Keenan approached them. Godinez testified that Keenan asked them “Are you proud?,” to which Godinez remembers responding “We are Marines.” Torres said that he remembers Keenan asking “Are you Proud Boys?,” an allusion to one of the alt-right groups behind the rally, and one that Torres said he didn’t understand. “I didn’t know what Proud Boys meant,” he said.
Whatever Keenan said, both Marines testified that Keenan, Massey, and approximately ten other people — men and women, some masked and some unmasked — then began attacking them with mace, punches, and kicks, and calling them “nazis” and “white supremacists.” On the stand, Godinez said that he was “bewildered” by being called a white supremacist and immediately cried out, “I’m Mexican!” After that, as the attack continued, both men said that members of the group, including Keenan, repeatedly used ethnic slurs, including “sp*c” and “wetback,” against the Marines. (There was no testimony that Massey used any such language).
Godinez testified that he was maced at least six times, hit in the head, and kicked in the ribs, and he said that while he was being “stomped,” members of the group, which the judge and the district attorney’s office have both referred to as a “mob,” chanted “f**k him up” over and over again.
“The best way I can describe it is the sound of people chanting in a soccer stadium,” Godinez told the court, also adding that Keenan was “laughing, smiling, and having a good time, while I could have died that day.”
Torres testified that Massey punched him “full force” repeatedly while he held his hands up above his face to protect himself, and the prosecutor used the opportunity to make it clear that while both Torres and Godinez are Marines, the suspects are significantly larger in both height and weight than the two of them.”
Two US Marines of Hispanic heritage were attacked, beaten, and kicked by white males associated with the leftist domestic terrorist gan, — one praised by members of the Democrat party — Antifa . . . the resistance. Not one of us should be surprised since it was the Democrat party that gave America its very first domestic terrorist organization, the Ku Klux Klan. Yes, even after brave American men of color returned from victory 100 years ago in World War I, it was the KKK that attacked, beat, kicked, and yes, killed them.
We hear so much from the liberal progressive media about President Trump being a white supremacist, and racist . . . yet their voices are silent about this egregious assault against two Marines of Hispanic heritage. Why? It’s simple: the left only cares about minority lives when it relates to their ideological agenda.
These two young Marines, Godinez and Torres, were not part of a migrant convoy. They were not criminal illegal immigrants and gang members with felony records looking for sanctuary in Philadelphia. Nope, they were US Marines, men of honor, integrity, and character. They proudly wear the distinctive insignia known only to the Few, the Proud, the highly esteemed Eagle, Globe, and Anchor.
And why were these two Marines walking around Old City Philadelphia? Simple, because it was on November 10, 1775, at a place called Tun Tavern in Philadelphia that this world-renowned fighting force, the United States Marine Corps, was established.
How utterly dishonorable that these Antifa thugs — whose names I shall not repeat — would verbally accost and physically assail these Marines. Yet, I have not heard a single Democrat party elected official denounce this gang, this domestic terrorist organization. Sadly, they never will because the party of the real racists is, and always shall be, the party of the jackass . . . the Democrat party. And that is why they so vehemently embrace an organization founded by a white supremacist and racist, Margaret Sanger’s Planned Parenthood . . . gotta kill all those “weeds” and “undesirables.”
This story should be one being told on every news channel in America — well, let me rephrase, all those that are not part of the leftist propaganda machine. My challenge to all of you Old School Patriots is that you spread this story far and wide. Especially share it with your progressive socialist friends who incessantly disparage constitutional conservatives as racist. Ask them if they will denounce this terrorist street gang, Antifa. Ask them if they stand by this gross display of disrespect to our US Marine Corps.
The story continues:
“In a statement previously released to Philly Mag, Godinez identified the group as an “Antifa mob” and said “we were outnumbered … there were two Marines against 10 to 12 assailants.”
On the stand, Godinez explained that he tried to call 911 once the group had fled but that he couldn’t operate his phone because of the mace. Torres called 911, and an ambulance transported both men to Jefferson Hospital, where Godinez was treated. He said that his sight is still affected by what happened that day — he was noticeably blinking throughout the court proceeding — and that he continues to have discomfort from some of his other injuries. He testified that he might require surgery. Torres did not seek medical treatment.
At one point in the hearing, Keenan’s attorney referred to the incident as a “tussle.” Shortly thereafter, the judge told the lawyer, “This isn’t like kids at a playground.”
After Godinez and Torres testified and the defense lawyers made brief arguments, the judge ruled that both men would be held for trial on aggravated assault and conspiracy charges — both felonies — as well as several misdemeanors. The judge also added a felony charge of ethnic intimidation against Keenan.
Their next court date is December 27th. The lawyers for the suspects declined to comment for this story.”
Two Marines against 10-12 assailants. You know what is also sad? Here we have Marines, who are sworn to defend us, who take an oath to the Constitution . . . and they were not allowed to be armed. See, these Marines were stationed in New Jersey and were visiting Philadelphia, where their Second Amendment rights are infringed upon. They could not carry a concealed weapon to defend themselves. These warriors were turned into sheep. But, imagine if they had been armed, legally, with a concealed carry, and had a personal firearm and used it against these leftists. You can bet that story would have been on ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, MSNBC, and PBS.
I have a great idea for a sentence for these two Antifa terrorists. Drop them off in the middle of nowhere in the Camp Lejeune training area. Let the Marines there know what they have done, and give the Marines their grid coordinates. Let’s see those two Antifa thugs take on 10-12 of our finest, the Few, the Proud . . . the Marines.
