Yes, I figured this title would get your attention, and it should. This is not hyperbole when one considers the history of the Democrat Party and its continuing actions. The Ku Klux Klan was started by the Democrat Party with one purpose: to instill fear in the recently freed Blacks, former slaves. The methods used to advance that objective were threats, intimidation, coercion, mandates (black codes), and, when required, abject violence.
How interesting that the National Rifle Association, founded in 1871, took up the cause of ensuring the Second Amendment, the right to keep and bear arms for self-defense, would be extended to blacks. I suppose one should not be surprised that many years later, it was the same Democrat Party, down south, that denied Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s request for a carry permit for self-defense. And, we know that it was Democrat President Lyndon Baines Johnson who unleashed his FBI to conduct surveillance against Dr. King. The Civil Rights Act was not passed because of Democrats. Nope, it was Senate Republicans led by Sen. Everett Dirksen who made it happen. But, it was President Johnson, who, aboard Air Force One speaking with Southern Democrat Governors admonished them by saying, “if we get this passed, we will have those (disparaging n-word for blacks) voting Democrat for the next 200 years.” Now we have the Democrat (socialist) Party talking about slave wage restitution, reparations, to continue the economic enslavement of the American black community. Hmm, some things never change.
The burning cross is a symbol, a symbol of seeking to instill fear. And, yes, today’s Democrat party is still, metaphorically, burning these crosses in front yards. That is something of which I have personal experience.
Our family will never forget back in the 2010 congressional race for Florida CD-22, when the Florida Democrat Party sent out a mail piece that had my SSN and Angela’s EIN fully disclosed, not redacted at all. Our daughter Aubrey went out to get the mail, and she came into the house, screaming, with tears rolling down her face. She saw the mailer piece and knew exactly what had happened. Angela started screaming, I was upstairs.
We made it known publicly what had happened, but the Florida Democrat Party just blew it off, ya know, “oops, my bad,” and said they would pay for Lifelock insurance. Well, they might as well have burned a cross in front of our house in Plantation, Florida. They were angered that this conservative black man did not want to stay on their plantation. Their intent was to instill fear and send the message that they were willing to do anything for the purposes of intimidation.
In the 2012 election cycle, I was running as the incumbent Congressman, but that did not matter. My opponent, Patrick Murphy, had his dad run a commercial advertisement depicting me with a gold tooth, boxing gloves, and punching white women. How utterly despicable and racist. But, again, they were sending the message, and there was no response from the Democrat Party, the NAACP (which was founded by two white progressive socialists), or the local liberal progressive media. Again, they might as well have set a cross burning in front of our house in Palm Beach Gardens — the message sent was no different — the Democrat Party will do whatever it wants to instill fear, intimidate, any black person straying off their plantation.
Heck, still to this day, the progressive socialist left still seeks to disparage my military service and record, and perpetuate lies. I am a retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel, with full rank and benefits to go with an Honorable Discharge. Yep, I took an action to protect the lives of my men, and the episode ended with Non-Judicial punishment, and we decided as a family to retire. How funny the progressive socialist left still tries to burn that cross in my front yard with their absurdities. And, how funny that the left fully embraces — and protected — a former president who abandoned Americans to die during an Islamic terrorist attack, and subsequently perpetuated a lie about the incident. See, if you are a good Negro and do what the white, liberal, progressive socialist massa says, you will be fine. Kinda like how leftists regard WEB Du Bois, an avowed socialist who turned communist and renounced his American citizenship.
So, it was expected that last week, after a mention of my name in possible consideration for US Congress in Texas by the Dallas Morning News, that a piece was written in a Ft. Lauderdale, Florida publication, with the headline referring to me as “incendiary.” Why would some leftist political writer care about me being mentioned in Texas? Well, then the hardcore leftist blogs began burning their metaphorical crosses in my front yard here in Garland, Texas after the “incendiary” story broke. Yes, the Democrats are still doing that, seeking to instill fear by way of intimidation.
That is nothing new here in Texas. As a matter of fact, let’s have a history lesson:
The Republican Party of Texas was founded on July 4, 1867, by a gathering of 20 whites, and 150 blacks. Two of the three early chairmen of the Republican Party of Texas were Black men. There were many State elected officials who were black. But, what was the Texas Democrat Party doing at the same time? Yes, you guessed it, burning crosses to instill fear, implementing black codes, and intimidating black Republicans from running for elected office. As Solomon said in Ecclesiastes, “there is nothing new under the sun.”
Heck, what the Democrat Party did to me was just a repeat of what they did to the only other black Republican Congressman from Florida previously, Josiah T. Walls (1873-1876).
But, this story is not just about me: consider how California Rep. Ted Lieu tried to lie, set a cross afire, in the front yard of Candace Owens last week. She doused his flame rather quickly.
Consider what happened to Conservative writer and thinker, Michael Knowles, on the campus of the University of Missouri, Kansas City (UMKC). Like the white student Freedom Riders, it is not about skin color, it is about anyone who stands in their way. Then it was the KKK, today the Democrat Party has created groups like Occupy Wall Street, Antifa, and Black Lives Matter. They are still burning crosses in front yards.
Any of our young Conservative students on college and university campuses can tell you of the incessant threats and intimidation — even violence — that they face.
Ask the movie producers of Unplanned about how the Hollywood “Klan” burned crosses in their front yard when the MPAA gave their movie an R rating. Or how about the Twitter folks suspending the movie’s account on opening weekend? All of this sends a message that they will take any action to protect an organization founded by a white supremacist, a racist.
Judge Brett Kavanaugh had three of those crosses set afire in his front yard, in the form of Christine Blasey Ford, Deborah Ramirez, and Julie Swetnick.
Heck, ask President Donald Trump about all the burning crosses the Democrat [Socialist] party has set afire in his front yard. Doggone, he is the sitting president. They do not care!
Again, it is not about the actual cross being set afire, it’s what that action symbolized, that has not changed, instilling fear, intimidation, threats, coercion, and violence, and I think it never will. And, why should it?
Slavery, segregation, Jim Crow, racism, literacy tests, poll taxes, lynchings, fire hoses, and now socialism, all require the same ingredients in order to be implemented: fear, intimidation, coercion, mandate, threats, and violence. In the history of our Constitutional Republic, there has only been one political party where this can all be found: the Democrat (socialist) Party.
Even unborn, as well as born, babies, are having crosses burned in their front yards, our most innocent, vulnerable, sacrificed in the false god altar of Moloch, the Democrat Party. Yes, it is the Democrat party that has embraced the principles of a white supremacist and racist, Margaret Sanger, who founded the baby killing industry organization, Planned Parenthood. What was her vision and objective? Yes, to rid America of the “undesirables,” the” weeds,” future generations of blacks. Yes, the Democrat Party is still burning crosses in the front yards of blacks, now they have them cornered into urban plantations where Planned Parenthood locates over 70% of their clinics. And, we have a lawmaker — a black Democrat — trying to make black babies an exception to the heartbeat law. Despicable!

Maybe this is why the progressive socialist left wants to erase history . . . their own.
I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, where once upon a time, the Ku Klux Klan, America’s first domestic terrorist group, created and embraced by the Democrat (socialist) Party — see Senator Robert Byrd — would burn crosses atop of Stone Mountain. The message was simple: instill fear. But we kicked their butts off Stone Mountain.
I am deeply humbled and honored by all of you who ask me to run for elected office once again. But, just know that if Angela and I decide to embark upon that endeavor, you will certainly become very aware of the real racists in America. They will burn crosses in my front yard — as they did to Herman Cain and Clarence Thomas — the time-honored raison d’etre of the Democrat (socialist) Party.
Remember, once upon a time, strong, resolute black men would stand watch on the front porches of homes, with shotguns, to prevent the KKK from enacting their policy of intimidation. Hmm, is that why the left has never wanted blacks to enjoy their Second Amendment rights, as evidenced in the inner city communities that they control?
