Fascism of the Tyrannical Left in America

In Faith, Front Page by Allen WestLeave a Comment

Well, the so-called “party of tolerance” has once again shown that they are anything but that. If there is one thing that should unite all liberty-loving people in America, it is a resolve to not be subjugated to the tyrannical ideological agenda of the progressive socialist left. I know you have heard me say that before, and I will keep saying it until we render their efforts and tactics irrelevant and ineffective. And, folks, this latest episode is really personal for me and my family.

As reported by Fox News:

“Vice President Mike Pence defended his wife Karen’s new job at a private Christian elementary school Thursday, calling for an end to the attacks on Christian education. Pence came to the Second Lady’s defense after it was announced she would be teaching art part-time at Immanuel Christian School in Springfield, Virginia earlier this week.

LGBT activists immediately started targeting her and the school for adhering to Christian beliefs.

“We’ll let the critics roll off our back,” Pence tweeted Thursday night. “But the criticism of Christian education in America must stop.”

Several groups, including the NOH8 Campaign, the Human Rights Campaign, and The Trevor Project, were upset because the school requires employees to pledge they believe marriage is monogamous and heterosexual and they won’t engage in “homosexual or lesbian sexual activity” or adopt or promote “transgender identity,” as well as an agreement that the school can deny admission or remove a student whose behavior is “in opposition to the biblical lifestyle the school teaches.”

CNN anchor Chris Cuomo compared her job to GOP Iowa Rep. Steve King’s remarks.

The Trevor Project also announced it plans to send 100 copies of John Oliver’s pro-gay book about the Pences’ pet rabbit to the school.

“If we cherish the freedom of religion in this country, this administration stands foursquare for the freedom of religion for people of all faiths, and to see the mainstream media criticize my wife cause she’s choosing to return to the classroom of an elementary Christian school is wrong,” Pence said. “Again, the attacks on Christian education must end.”

We recently shared a story with y’all about a public high school teacher in Virginia who was fired, not because of incompetence or sexual misconduct. Nope, he was fired because he would not refer to a student by their preferred pronoun. Yes, we still have freedom of religion in America, but some, as the School Board, in this case, feel that their ideological agenda is more important.

First of all, I spent first through ninth grade in private Catholic School, Our Lady of Lourdes and Marist School, before transferring and finishing at Henry Grady HS in Atlanta. In those first nine grades of education, we prayed before class every day and attended Mass. I am not Catholic, but I felt right at home, and still to this day, fully understanding and enjoying attending Catholic Mass.

Our two daughters, Aubrey and Austen, attended multiple private Catholic and Christian schools like St. Ann’s in Fayetteville, NC, St. Joseph’s in Killeen, Texas, and upon retirement to South Florida, Community Christian School, St. Malachy, and they respectively graduated high school from Archbishop McCarthy and Atlantic Christian Academy.

I am highly offended and disturbed by the leftist radical LGBT attacks against VP Pence’s wife Karen. But, this is indicative of a greater problem that we face in America.

The left in America demands total ideological domination. More importantly, what they want is complete subjugation to their ideological, societal, and cultural agenda. This means that they must have access to our children from the earliest ages, not only to educate them but, rather, indoctrinate them. I and my daughters can engage anyone in intellectual debate and discourse; we are all free thinking individuals who can discern the issues on their own merits. However, this inane protest from the left seems to not be about kids receiving a quality education . . . no. They are angry because they do not have access in order to promulgate their system of indoctrination. Schools are supposed to be a place of learning, and if parents make a decision for their children’s education in a private, religious school that teaches norms and morals based upon the Bible, so be it. That is their choice, and these radicals need to shut up and drink more pumpkin spice lattes and shave off their toxic masculinity. The left has evidenced that they do not want the Judeo-Christian God in education . . . fine. There are still many of us who do, and we have every doggone right to pay for this ourselves and expose our children to an education that accommodates how we, the parents, wish for their character to be built. On top of that, receive a far better educational experience.

Once upon a time, education in America was based upon religion, it did not harm our Founding Fathers. Matter of fact, the nation’s oldest institution of higher learning in Harvard University, named after — wait for it — Reverend John Harvard, its first donor, who left his personal library to the school. I wonder what Rev. Harvard would think of the school of his namesake today. I also wonder if the students at Harvard read his original works, his sermons.

The progressive socialist left, including the radical LGBT lobby, wants access to your children as they must indoctrinate them towards their lifestyle. Actually, I say to them, if that is your pursuit of happiness, fine, but do not attempt to cast that upon others who disagree, or punish them and their businesses.

This whole episode kinda reminds me of the story from Sodom and Gomorrah. See God sent angels to warn Lot of the impending destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. When the people heard that there were strangers, men, visiting Lot, they stood outside and demanded Lot give them over so that they could “know” them. The angels came out and struck the people of Sodom and Gomorrah blind, and they wandered off sightless.

The radical LBGT agenda is to expose our children to their way of life, and that includes at the youngest ages. We have all read stories of this and when they are prevented from being able to do so, well, this is how they respond. It is not about tolerance; it is fully about their intolerance. When tolerance becomes a one-way street, it leads to cultural suicide. Hmm, ask yourselves: why are these same LGBT groups not speaking out about Islamic schools or Madrassas globally? The answer is easy: the left feels that they can push Christians around, demonize, disparage, and denigrate them all the day long. This includes ruining Christian businesses, forcing Christians to abide by unconstitutional mandates, and dragging Christians before the Supreme Court.

My Christian brothers and sisters, enough! No more of the “turning the other cheek” belief. We only need to turn the other cheek in order for the left to miss, and then we must counter back. We as Christians must be strong and of good courage, knowing that our God shall never leave nor forsake us. Let us stand, steadfast, and not draw back under the onslaught from these enemies of our religious liberty, upon which this nation was indeed founded.

I will close with this quote from one of our preeminent Founding Fathers, John Adams, signer of the Declaration of Independence and Second President of these United States of America:

“The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity. I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God. Without religion, this world would be something not fit to be mentioned in polite company: I mean hell. The Christian religion is, above all the religions that ever prevailed or existed in ancient or modern times, the religion of wisdom, virtue, equity and humanity. Suppose a nation in some distant region should take the Bible for their only law book and every member should regulate his conduct by the precepts there exhibited. . . . What a Eutopia [sic] – what a Paradise would this region be! I have examined all religions, and the result is that the Bible is the best book in the world.”

Of course, the left would say that Adams’ words are old, outdated, and irrelevant, that we are in dire need of a fundamental transformation in America. Well, there are some very objective truths, such as 2+2=4, and that our nation’s first individual right, as written in the Constitution’s first amendment is freedom of religion and the free exercise thereof. Stop trying to make Christianity a crime. We are taught not to judge, just realize that we have been saved by God’s grace.

Y’all go live your lives and end this assault against Christianity in America. Obviously, some of you are insecure about your lifestyle and deem it necessary to destroy others and force acceptance.

That ain’t American!
