Another Kick in the Pants for the Left

Allen West Old School Patriot Up From Slavery

Is there any wonder why we see the progressive socialist left in America becoming completely unhinged? They are imploding right before our very eyes. They are offering no policy solutions for the American people. As matter of fact, they should take heed to James Carville’s seminal assertion, “It’s the economy, stupid.”

However, the leftists — led by a chucklehead named Rep. Jared Polis — have introduced legislation to repeal the tax cut law. Yep, that will certainly get you elected. And, we’ve witnessed the outward hostility being exhibited by the left towards those who do not surrender to their ideological agenda. When they were in power, the left weaponized federal government agencies to assault political opposition — and we are uncovering more of that within our Department of Justice, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Yes, in just a little over 500 days, the left in America is realizing that they are losing. That there is no “blue wave,” and that they may hate President Trump, but his policies are delivering an exceptional return. And, yesterday, the left got another kick in the shorts, and, boy howdy are they apoplectic about it. As Buck West would say, “son, a hit dog will holler.”

As reported by Fox News:

“The Supreme Court on Tuesday upheld President Trump’s controversial travel ban affecting several mostly Muslim countries, offering a limited endorsement of the president’s executive authority on immigration in one of the hardest-fought battles of this term.  The 5-4 ruling marks the first major high court decision on a Trump administration policy. It upholds the selective travel restrictions, which critics called a discriminatory “Muslim ban” but the administration argued was needed for security reasons.

In a written statement, Trump called the ruling “a tremendous victory for the American People and the Constitution.” As critics continued to decry the policy as “xenophobic,” Trump described the court decision as “a moment of profound vindication following months of hysterical commentary from the media and Democratic politicians who refuse to do what it takes to secure our border and our country.”  At issue was whether the third and latest version of the administration’s policies affecting visitors from five majority Muslim nations – known as travel ban 3.0 – discriminates on the basis of nationality and religion, in the government’s issuance of immigrant visas.  Chief Justice John Roberts, who authored the conservative majority opinion, wrote that the order was “squarely within the scope of presidential authority” under federal law.

“The sole prerequisite set forth in [federal law] is that the president find that the entry of the covered aliens would be detrimental to the interests of the United States. The president has undoubtedly fulfilled that requirement here,” he wrote.

Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayor was among the court’s four liberals that wrote a dissent.

“This repackaging does little to cleanse [the policy] of the appearance of discrimination that the president’s words have created,” she said. “Based on the evidence in the record, a reasonable observer would conclude that the proclamation was motivated by anti-Muslim animus.”

This Constitutional executive policy was never about folks being Muslim. As well, being Muslim is not a race — so denigrating rhetoric about racism does not apply. For those who try to castigate this action as a violation of the First Amendment’s freedom of religion protections, or some religious persecution, it is not. It has nothing to do with xenophobia. The five countries listed are all on the terrorist watch list; some are truly failed states where there is little to no control or accountability of persons. As a matter of fact, one of the major concerns during the height of the Islamic State was their ability to create passports, and other documentation.

Now, here’s a simple question for ya: who would not want us to have better, focused, vetting processes and procedures for places like Syria, Somalia, Iran, Yemen, Sudan? No, this had nothing to do with being Muslim, since the largest Islamic countries, such as Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, and Egypt were absent. Oh by the way, North Korea is on the list; it’s hardly a Muslim country. I have to shake my head when I hear the ignorance of a person like Senator Cory Booker, who believes that this decision makes us less safe. Really, I guess Senator Booker also believes that MS-13 has a “spark of divinity.”

I think we just need to realize that logic, and reason, are lost traits with progressive socialists. Those four Supreme Court justices who dissented did so, not based upon the rule of law, but rather based upon their sense of judicial activism.

Can I give you a historical example?

Let’s say we were living in jolly ol’ England back in the 9th and 10th centuries, along the coastal areas. That was the height of the period of the Viking raids. Imagine if kings made a decision to restrict migration of folks from the Nordic areas as a matter of national security. Do any of you think the English citizens, who were being terrorized, would challenge that decision? It was not about being discriminatory against blond-haired, blue-eyed folks; it was about protecting the population against potential infiltrators, spies, and those who would aid, and abet, continued attacks against their homeland. So, how is what President Trump signed into action any different?

For the left, everything is about identity politics, hating, and resisting President Trump. They couldn't care less about protecting the American people when it comes to their ideology. Click To Tweet

I will tell you, because, for the progressive socialist left, everything is about identity politics, hating, and resisting President Trump. They couldn’t care less about protecting the American people when it comes to their ideology . . . in this case, non-existent borders.

There are those who are mistakenly trying to conflate this with the issue of Japanese internment camps during World War II. Now, that was truly a case of xenophobia, a strong fear against a specific race of people. But, those people were American citizens . . . in this case, we are not talking about American citizens.

Somehow, the left in America possess a delusional belief that anyone has American constitutional rights — well, except those Americans who hold a different political perspective. No non-American citizen has a right to be in America, unless you refute, and deny, the standing of America as a sovereign nation, as the progressive socialist left does.

We have a corrupt liberal progressive media that is nothing more than the propaganda arm of the progressive socialist left in America. Their incessant regurgitation of leftist talking points is why they have — and rightly so — earned the moniker of “fake news.” Sadly, as Nazi Minster of Propaganda, Joseph Goebbels, asserted, if one tells a lie enough, it will eventually be taken as truth.

Expect the rest of this week to be filled with nonsensical protests, and rantings from the left. Unfortunately, they react just like spoiled-brat kids in the cereal aisle of a grocery store when they do not get what they want: more Fruit Loops.
