New Change at Planned Parenthood

First of all, let me extend my sincere prayers for those who will be in the path of Hurricane Florence. I was stationed in North Carolina when Hurricane Floyd hit eastern North Carolina, twice, and that was after Dennis. The flooding was devastating, and we had to use the Amtrak from Camp Lejeune for the recovery efforts. My dear good friend Jim Gort and his family reside down in Charleston, SC, and I pray for their safety.

You know, I could discuss the heinous knife attack against a GOP congressional candidate. Looks like a little, progressive, socialist, jihadist answered the call of Mad Max Waters’ fatwa. Amazingly, this perpetrator was released on bail. I could share with you the absurd and unethical story of some progressive socialists who threatened a sitting GOP Senator, Susan Collins, if she voted for Judge Brett Kavanaugh. None of this should be a surprise, since last week I asserted that the real terrorists in America reside in the Democrat [Socialist] party.

Well, I would prefer to bring to your attention the next guardian of Margaret Sanger’s legacy of eradicating the “weeds” and “undesirables.” As reported by Townhall:

“Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion [murder of unborn babies] provider, announced Wednesday that Dr. Leana Wen will be its new president. Wen, 35, is a former emergency room doctor and Chinese immigrant. Dr. Wen, the health commissioner of Baltimore, relates in an announcement video that her family arrived in the U.S. from China and were granted political asylum and became citizens in 2003. “Growing up, Dr. Wen, as well as her mother and sister, relied on Planned Parenthood for health care,” according to Planned Parenthood’s announcement. “During medical school, she volunteered at a Planned Parenthood health center in St. Louis.” Wen graduated from California State University, Los Angeles at the age of 18 and went to medical school at Washington University. She became a Rhodes Scholar and earned her master’s degree at Oxford. She discusses watching a woman die due to an at-home abortion attempt and her role in suing the Trump administration over cutting funds to Baltimore’s Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program.”

Here is how Dr. Wen was described, “A dynamic public health leader and practicing physician, Dr. Wen is the first doctor to lead Planned Parenthood in nearly 50 years,” Naomi Aberly, chair of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America Board of Directors, said in a statement. “Not only will she help Planned Parenthood continue to provide high-quality care to women, men, and young people across the country, she will be a powerful voice in our fight to ensure women have the ability to make their own health care decisions — no matter what.”

What I find interesting is Dr. Wen’s comment that she, her mother, and her sister depended upon Planned Parenthood for health care. Hmm, the federal government provides for countless free health clinics. If Dr. Wen was indigent, and living below the poverty level, she had access to Medicaid, so there was no reason to “rely” upon Planned Parenthood. And what is this absurdity about ensuring women have the ability to make their own health care decisions? Have we become so callous, disturbed, that taking the innocent life of an unborn baby is just a “health care” decision? Have we devolved into a deranged state of mind that we willingly accept that the murder of an unborn baby, in the most heinous manner, is the approved means of birth control? Or is it as Margaret Sanger desired, population control of the undesirables . . . the deplorables?

The Roe v. Wade decision intended for the practice of terminating the life of unborn children to be safe, legal, and rare. It is now a multi-million dollar industry. It is an industry of death now to be headed by a 35-year-old Chinese immigrant doctor, turned US citizen, who is dedicated to ending the lives of American babies who could have had the chance to graduate from medical school, or become a Rhodes Scholar.

Earlier this week I penned a commentary for CNS News entitled, “The Tale of Two Organizations From the Perspective of an American Black Man.” If I could ask the new President of Planned Parenthood, Dr. Leana Wen, one question, it would be this: how many unborn black babies do you intend to murder in the womb?

I am sure that is a statistic, a measure of effectiveness briefed at Planned Parenthood board meetings.
