Reasons Nancy Pelosi Won’t Be Speaker

After the results of Tuesday’s California primary, needless to say, there is no such thing as a “Blue Wave,” perhaps not even a pond ripple. Even in California, the left is finding out that their policies are no longer blindly accepted. Consider that in a heavily Democrat district, one that Hillary Clinton won by some 15%, a Democrat state senator was recalled, and replaced with a Republican. Why? It was all about the ever-increasing California gas tax that has gasoline in California .80 cents above the national average. California also has the highest state income tax, along with the insidious sanctuary state policy that directly threatens the safety and security of law-abiding citizens. And, as we shared with y’all earlier this week, the California mayors seeking to institute an employee head tax, similar to that of Seattle.

It appears to me that even the citizens of California are saying “Enough!” However, one Californian is still not getting the memo, and — honestly speaking — I want her to keep talking.

As reported by CNS News:

“House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said at her press briefing today [Thursday] that although unemployment is down, government dependency is not–and that wages must rise. CNSNews.com asked Pelosi: “The unemployment rate in May was 3.8 percent—the lowest it has been in 18 years. Is that good news?” Pelosi said: “Well, as I said, unemployment rate is one indication. The fact is, and this has happened before, that people say: Oh my goodness, that people are saying the unemployment rate is down, why isn’t my purchasing power increasing? “So, this isn’t just about the unemployment rate, it’s about wages rising in our country, so that consumer confidence is restored,” she said.  “Because our economy will never fully reach its possibilities unless we increase the consumer confidence and that can only be increased by a better deal, better jobs, better wages, better future, and lowering costs to families–whether its prescription drugs, by really lowering the cost of prescription drugs–and that list goes on.”

“This is one unusual time and I follow it closely, where the unemployment rate is down, but the dependence on subsidies, food insecurity, housing subsidies, and the rest, has not gone down because of the wage stagnation,” she said. “So, in terms of the national stability of America’s working families,” said Pelosi, “unless we have an increase–a very significant increase in wages–bigger paychecks, we are going to increase the frustration of America’s families because they’ll be saying: Hip, hip hooray, unemployment is down! What does that mean to me in my life? I need a bigger paycheck.’ That’s the apprehension American families have had for a while and continue to have and we must address.”

“So, when we’re talking about this, it’s not increase more jobs so that we can subsidize more low-paying jobs by public investment, housing support, food support and the list goes on,” said Pelosi. “But to have living wages for people, justice, economic justice, social justice. Justice, it’s a very important value that America has.”

This is the same Nancy Pelosi who was giddy when Barack Obama cut payroll taxes, and it resulted in $40 going back to folks. “Crumbs,” Nancy? Nancy Pelosi obviously fails to realize that we, now, in America, have more job openings than people to fill them. What a grand problem to have. It’s time we tell these progressive, socialist, leftists that obsessive taxation, for the purpose of advancing their ideological agenda, is no longer acceptable to Americans with a functioning brain. Just as the delusional city council in Seattle created an employee head tax to build housing for homeless, we don’t need to see the left soak people for more largesse to create more government dependence. We tried that for eight years with Barack Obama, and our economy failed. Taxation is not for Nancy Pelosi to use for her welfare nanny-state expansion.

Consumer confidence is rising as Americans are getting more income in their paychecks. When you get $2,000 by way of a bonus, well, that is a raise in wages. Hey Nancy, think about this, we have 63K truck driving jobs that are open. They start out at $80K, I think that is how we enable Americans to support themselves, not by your graces, and our taxes. Rich elitist leftists like a Nancy Pelosi fail to comprehend how an economy works. What they truly want is power, and when you are dependent upon progressive socialists for your housing and food, basically your existence, then they own you.

What we are witnessing in America is a resurgence in economic empowerment of Americans. What Nancy Pelosi and her ilk want is economic enslavement — servitude, subservience, your electoral patronage. The easiest way for that to come about is for you to depend upon them; to fall into the false belief that they can guarantee your happiness,  existence. When they chant “yes we can” it does not mean you can pursue your happiness. It means that they can take it away. In doing so, when you willingly abdicate your God-given unalienable rights, they, the progressive socialists of the left, decide your life, and prescribe your liberty.

I want Nancy Pelosi to keep talking . . . non-stop. She is the best calling card for the insanity, ignorance, and abject totalitarianism of the liberal, progressive, left in America. She comes from a state whose policies are the antithesis of those upon which our Constitutional Republic stands.

We do not need folks like Nancy Pelosi defining what justice means. If the true definition of justice were applied, then Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, James Comey, Susan Rice, Ben Rhodes, Lisa Paige, Peter Strzok, Andrew McCabe, and a host of others would be jailed. We do not need you, ma’am, to come up with some mindless term called “living wage.” Americans are strong, and resilient, enough to determine what they need to live.

Nancy Pelosi for Speaker of the House, again? Heaven help us! She is a walking, breathing reason for not voting Democrat . . . ever!
