Response to Pete Buttigieg on War Criminals

Okay, I have truly had it with these chuckleheads who think they know anything about today’s modern battlefield replete with vile, savage, barbaric non-state, non-uniformed Islamic jihadists. These demons blend in with the populace and use that cover to target and kill our men and women in uniform. This is not some Romper Room show and these progressive socialists are not capable of understanding the mindset of these medieval cretins. Now, all of a sudden, these people who would certainly unleash violence against political opposition here in America are feigning angst about potential pardons by President Donald Trump.

As reported by NBC News,

“Democratic presidential contender Pete Buttigieg ripped President Donald Trump for considering whether to pardon convicted and alleged war criminals.

In an interview with ABC’s “This Week” that aired Sunday, Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Indiana, who is also an Afghanistan War veteran, said “one of the things that protects our troops morally and physically is the knowledge that if anybody in uniform does commit a crime, they will be held accountable by military justice.”

“For a president, especially a president who never served, to say he’s going to come in and overrule that system of military justice undermines the very foundations, legal and moral, of this country,” he added.

On Friday, amid reports that Trump could issue such pardons over Memorial Day weekend, the president told reporters at the White House that he hasn’t “made any decisions yet.”

“There’s two or three of them right now,” he said. “It’s a little bit controversial. It’s very possible that I’ll let the trials go on, and I’ll make my decision after the trial.”

“Some of these soldiers are people that have fought hard and long,” Trump added. “You know, we teach them how to be great fighters, and then when they fight, sometimes they get really treated very unfairly.”

Buttigieg lambasted the latter remark, saying: “The idea that being sent to war turns you into a murderer is exactly the kind of thing that those of us who have served have been trying to beat back for more than a generation.”

“Frankly, [Trump’s] idea that being sent to fight makes you automatically into some sort of war criminal is a slander against veterans that could only come from someone who never served,” he added.”

Let me start by first saying that I, for one, have grown sick and tired of this REMF (combat troops know what that means) who keeps running his pie hole about having served. Look here “Mayor Pete,” unless you have been downrange and drawn fire, perhaps you should stop trying to portray yourself as some second coming of Audie Murphy. If anything, you remind me of John Kerry, who drew fire on himself to earn several Purple Hearts affording him to escape the full tour of service in Vietnam, only to later demonize men, like my brother, a former Marine Infantryman. Or, perhaps, Petey ‘ol boy, you like hanging out with that fella who dreamed he had served in combat, ya know, Sen. Richard Blumenthal?

One of the things that protect troops deployed into combat are leaders who understand the nature of the battlefield. Leaders who will not use them as pawns in their insidious political game, power struggle. Butt-a-Judge needs to stop talking about that which he has never experienced, physical contact with the enemy. For this fella to believe that he is capable of being our Commander-in-Chief is not just delusional, it is highly disturbing. We certainly do not need another leftist coward with some perverted view about morality in combat, and military justice.

I did not hear lil’ Pete say a word about John Walker Lindh being released from prison. You know, the “American Taliban” who still is unrepentant about his support for Islamic jihadism, terrorism. Lindh was responsible for the death of a former US Marine Officer and CIA operative, Mike Spann. Yet, Lindh was released from prison. Hey, Pete, is that okay with you? Does that make you feel morally superior?

Pete, you cheeky fella, I did not hear you utter a word when Bowe Bergdahl, an admitted traitor, be released, freed, not having to serve one damn day for his misdeeds. And his misdeeds led to the death of several US Army Soldiers. Then again Petey, perhaps you feel that, as Susan Rice said, Bergdahl served with honor and distinction . . . the leftist definition of such.

I heard you say nothing, Pete, when Bradley Manning was released from prison in Ft. Leavenworth. No, I do not know who Chelsea is. All I know is that the US Army arrested, charged, tried, convicted, and sentenced PVT Bradley Manning, a traitor, for divulging over 700,000 pieces of classified information from a combat zone. As a Naval Reserve Intel officer, one would think that you would be a tad tougher on someone who divulged classified information.

Both of the crimes perpetrated by Bergdahl and Manning come with the death sentence according to our Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). So why are they walking free Pete? Especially Manning, though, I guess having a mental condition called gender dysphoria gave Manning moral superiority, according to you leftists.

Let me get this right, Pete: you have a problem with Clint Lorance and Matthew Golsteyn being pardoned? These are men who deployed downrange in Afghanistan. Did you?

These are men who faced the enemy, unlike Bergdahl who ran away to the enemy.

Men who had exculpatory evidence withheld by Army prosecutors. So, Pete, you would prefer that Matt Golsteyn had never killed a Taliban bomb maker? You would prefer that he sit in prison? Heck, do you even believe you are capable of surviving two hours of the SF Q course?

You, sir, are nothing but a headline-seeking wannabe. Real warriors do not run around constantly talking about how they served in combat. Real warriors are humble and rarely seek out recognition, but you are nothing more than a grandstanding “Spot Light Ranger,” and certainly incapable of leading our Armed Forces.

Y’all wanna know what a damn war criminal looks like? I will tell you: Barack Hussein Obama! The pathetic coward who abandoned our brave Americans to die in the heat of an Islamic jihadist attack in Benghazi. Obama went to bed and then flew off to a political fundraiser. And, when queried about the entire 13-hour ordeal, he lied.

Mayor Pete, men and women who face the enemy and kill them are not war criminals. Those like you and Obama are, because you would abandon them on the battlefields so you can claim a demented state of moral superiority.

President Trump, pardon Army 1LT Clint Lorance and Major Matthew Golsteyn. You should not give a damn what an impostor like this Pete Butt-a-Judge says, he is nothing more than another Ivy League elitist.

Pete, I have another acronym for you, courtesy of real Military warriors: Sierra-Tango-Foxtrot-Uniform! I welcome a debate with you any day about serving in combat and making the tough decisions to protect your men.
