As reported by NBC News — yes, I read all different media outlets:
“A man arrested at a makeshift compound in New Mexico where 11 children and the remains of a boy were found was training the children to commit school shootings, according to court documents. Siraj Ibn Wahhaj, the father of a missing Georgia boy, was conducting weapons training at the squalid compound in the northern part of the state, documents filed in 8th judicial district court in Taos County court on Wednesday say, citing the foster parent of one of the 11 children. Wahhaj “had trained the child in the use of an assault rifle in preparation for future school shootings,” the parent said, according to the document. The news was first reported by the Associated Press. Authorities discovered the compound in Amalia last Friday during a search for Wahhaj’s son, a 3-year-old who went missing 8 months ago from Jonesboro, Georgia. Wahhaj was the prime suspect. Once there, they came across Wahhaj plus four other adults and 11 hungry kids ranging in age from 1 to 15. But they did not find his son. They arrested the adults and charged them with child abuse. Prosecutors asked for Wahhaj to be held without bail. Wahhaj had multiple firearms, including an assault rifle, the authorities said. They also believed there to be a shooting range on the property. The conspiracy charge to commit school shootings marks the latest bizarre twist in the case.”
Here is my point: if this was a group of white men with white boys, can you imagine how this would be reported?
I mean seriously, training young boys on how to conduct school shootings, in a remote, squalid, compound in New Mexico? Now, if this was Afghanistan, it would be completely normal, but this happened in the United States, and only the issue of the missing little boy, whom they believe is the one dead, spurred on this investigation. I must ask, how many other places in America is this being replicated — and we do not know about it? One would think this story would be front and center, considering the issue of school shootings. I suppose not, and of course, is little David Hogg gonna blame this on the NRA?
What needs to happen now is a backtracking on Siraj Ibn Wahhaj as to his associations, his accomplices, and what mosque he attended. Could this be a burgeoning hot spot for Islamic jihadism, much as Minneapolis has become in the Somali community there? This is not about “profiling,” this is what we called “trend analysis” or peeling back the onion to get to the core. Just the same as the Muslim Brotherhood’s strategic memorandum, objective, for America was written in 1991, by Mohammed Akram, and found in a northern Virginia raid in 2004, we need to seek out these hot spots. If there was one thing we focused on in the combat zones, it was to never allow the enemy to find and have a sanctuary.
Need I remind y’all of the Beslan School attack conducted by Islamic jihadists? Perhaps we do indeed need to take the safety of our schools more seriously, and stop the insidious ideological posturing. We have evidence that there is a weakness, a gap that can be exploited. Will we see our schools as the next target of Islamic terrorism?
We would have never thought flying airplanes into buildings was a plausible means of attack, or gunning down soldiers on a military installation. This past year’s school shootings should not be leveraged as an opportunity to attack the nation’s oldest civil rights organization, the National Rifle Association. After all, the NRA has a School Shield program that does security assessments.
The enemy, who is always adapting, and looking for new ways to enact violence against us, has found a weakness: our schools. We have refused to address the issue of more, and better, security, and we have seen some balk at teachers being voluntarily armed. We have pushed aside taking any measures to curtail the issue of mental illness in our young people. In essence, the jihadists in America realize that we are about to begin a new school year, and they are banking that we have not improved our security measures.the jihadists in America realize that we are about to begin a new school year, and they are banking that we have not improved our security measures. The story coming out of this “compound” in New Mexico is very disconcerting, but to be expected. We face a determined, and resolute, enemy that is constantly assessing better ways to wage violence against us. This cannot just be dismissed.
