The Left’s Demonization of Life

In Front Page, Unborn by Allen West

Deuteronomy 30:19 (New International Version), “This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you may live, you and your children.”
Psalm 127:3-5 (New International Version), “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him, Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man [West adds, and woman] whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.”

It is time we no longer play “patty cakes” around the issue of killing our unborn children. We must make a clear decision as to who we are in America, the world, and affirm whether or not we believe that the first unalienable right endowed to us by our Creator is life.

This simple concept was presented to us first by English political philosopher, the Father of Classical Liberalism, John Locke. He proposed in his advocacy of natural rights theory that individuals have the inherent, God-given right to life, liberty, and property. This is why I do not refer to these present day Democrats (socialists) as liberals. They have consorted to confuse us with redefining these unalienable rights as ideological rights. They are redefining the very meaning of life, and, as masters of linguistic manipulation, contorting what are defined as individual rights.

Now, let us come and reason together, and have a truly intellectual discussion here on this issue. I propose that murdering unborn babies is not an acceptable means of birth control. That is not me, or anyone else, telling a woman what to do with her body, under so-called leftist “reproductive rights.” I do not believe anyone is trying to mandate whether or not a woman must reproduce, she has the right to do so or not. What we are reasoning is that how can we declare that one person has the right to individually decide to take the life of another . . . yes, a life that is growing within a womb?

I believe it is clearly laid out in Deuteronomy 30:19. There is a choice before us, life and death, blessings and curses. And, in this passage we are admonished to choose life in order that we, and our children, may live. I no longer believe the right characterization is “pro-choice.” Choice of what? The answer is simple: death to unborn babies, the loss of a blessing, the reward of offspring. The traditional family unit has been a foundation, cornerstone, of civilized society for millennia. What has gone awry?

Let me be clear: we are not talking about dismissing the violation of a woman’s body — rape and incest. If there is a certifiable risk to a woman’s health, then no one should intervene in that decision. But these are not the reasonable person policies, discussions, we are having. We have gone full bore towards the worship of the Canaanite god of child sacrifice, Moloch.

Consider this, Dr. Kermit Gosnell sits imprisoned for life for exactly what New York Governor Andrew Cuomo signed into law. And, the same thing that a Vermont “Republican” governor just signed into law.

Via Townhall:

“Vermont Gov. Phil Scott signed H. 57 on Monday, a bill that puts “unlimited, unregulated abortion” into law, Vermont Right to Life Committee reports.

“By putting his signature on H. 57, Governor Phil Scott endorses unlimited, unregulated abortion throughout all nine months of pregnancy,” Mary Hahn Beerworth, Executive Director of Vermont Right to Life, said in a statement.

“His signature signals his preference for protecting the business of abortion over other life-affirming options in Vermont statute.”

While many are claiming the bill codifies current abortion law in the state, Vermont Right to Life says that’s not true.

“H. 57 goes beyond Roe v. Wade, and may well be the most radical anti-life law in the nation,” according to Sharon Toborg, Policy Analyst for Vermont Right to Life.

“H.57 grants abortion providers and clinics the right to sue the State if they are not allowed to establish a new abortion practice in Vermont. Unlike providers of any other medical procedure, H. 57 grants abortion providers this private right of action against the State.”

Scott, a Republican, said in a statement that his decision to sign the legislation relates to his longstanding belief in a woman’s right to choose.”

Choose what Governor Scott? I find it interesting that the question is never answered: if one is “pro-choice” what exactly is it that they are “choosing?”

Do you know what is very interesting and noticeable here? No protests from the entertainment elites on the signing of H.57 in Vermont. There are no protests from screenwriters. There are no billionaires calling for students at the University of Vermont to protest, boycott. It is just all fine and dandy.

So, when did this deranged drive towards demonizing life in America begin? What heinous and awful crime have unborn babies committed that they would be so savagely, and brutally, punished? Then again, since the progressive socialist left did everything to undermine the movie “Unplanned” many have no idea of what we are discussing.

And now, there is a move by one of the delusional Democrat (socialist) presidential candidates to ensure what I am discussing here, shall never be heard.

As reported by Townhall:

“Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) told the Des Moines Register today “there’s some issues that have such moral clarity that we have as a society decided that the other side is not acceptable” and hinted abortion now falls in that category.

As first reported by the Washington Free Beacon, Sen. Gillibrand told the Iowa newspaper, “Imagine saying that it’s okay to appoint a judge who’s racist or anti-Semitic or homophobic. Asking someone to appoint someone who takes away basic human rights of any group of people in America—I don’t think that those are political issues anymore.”

She then continued saying, “And we believe in this country in the separation of church and state, and I respect the rights of every American to hold their religious beliefs true to themselves, but our country and our Constitution has always demanded that we have a separation of church and state.”

“And all these efforts by President Trump and other ultra-radical conservative judges and justices to impose their faith on Americans is contrary to our Constitution and that’s what this is,” she added.

“And so I believe that for all of these issues, they are not issues that there is a fair other side. There is no moral equivalency when you come to racism, and I do not believe there is a moral equivalency when it comes to changing laws that deny women reproductive freedom.”

First of all, Sen. Gillibrand fails to understand the essence of what Thomas Jefferson wrote in his letter to the Danbury Baptist Convention reference the separation of church and state. The left in America has decided that killing unborn babies is their religion, and will seek to impose that on this nation, and silence those who believe differently.

Imagine this, Sen. Gillibrand is making a moral equivalency of being pro-life, one of our unalienable rights, to being a racist. She is struggling in her presidential campaign, like NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio. But just like Mayor Billy, she has now said something so abjectly absurd one must question her competency.

The left in America has decided in their utterly deranged minds to not just kill unborn babies, but destroy anyone who takes a position opposing it. That is a clear violation of free speech and freedom of expression. Then again, when it comes to the self-determined ideological rights the left prescribes, as Sen. Gillibrand suggests, your constitutional rights mean nothing.

As additional proof that the progressive socialist left has lost their collective mind over this, popular social media site, Pinterest, has poured fuel on the fire by categorizing posts made on the network by pro-life group Live Action as “porn.”

Per the Washington Examiner:

“Pinterest banned anti-abortion group Live Action after they had disabled some of its page features by listing it as a pornographic site.

Alison Centofante, Live Action’s director of external affairs, announced Tuesday morning that the social media company had banned the group after they appealed being listed as a pornographic site.

“@Pinterest appears to have intentionally added ‘’ to a list of blocked pornography sites,” Centofante said. “Pinterest received an appeal and doubled down, keeping ‘’ on their pornography blocked list. It appears Live Action is the only pro-life group on this list, at this time.”

“Pinterest has targeted Live Action, I believe because our message is so effective at educating millions about the humanity of the preborn child and the injustice of abortion,” Lila Rose, president of Live Action, said in a statement. “Pinterest trying to secretly and dishonestly censor free expression is every Pinterester’s worst nightmare. We urge them to allow free expression on their platform and to stop censoring Live Action’s pro-life message.”

Live Action has been subject to varying levels of censorship on multiple media platforms. Twitter has banned the group from displaying ads on their website and YouTube has demonetized and demoted videos from Live Action and Rose.”

Why did I open this missive with those two biblical verses? It’s simple: America heritage is founded upon Judeo-Christian values. I am not proposing any theocracy. No one has said that the Bible is our rule of law. However, concepts and precepts of the Bible formed the rule of law in Western civilization . . . the Ten Commandments come to mind. You know, “Thou Shall not Kill.” Perhaps Sen. Gillibrand has not paid attention: the only lawgiver that faces the Speaker’s rostrum in our House of Representatives is that of Moses. You know, the fella who wrote the Book of Deuteronomy, from whence that opening verse comes.

To all my dear progressive socialist detractors, let me clarify something. I am truly pro-choice: I do not believe in mandating behavior unless it is criminal. My choice in this matter is, and always shall be the blessing of life.

Now, what is it exactly that y’all choose?
