At the end of this month, tens of thousands of law-abiding, patriotic Americans will gather in Indianapolis for the annual meeting of the nations oldest civil rights organization, founded in 1871, the National Rifle Association (NRA). I am proud and honored to have been a member of the NRA Board of Directors these past three years. And, if the NRA members have deemed me worthy, perhaps I will be reelected to another three-year term as a Guardian of the Republic, and its most important individual right: the right to keep and bear arms, that shall not be infringed!
It all began with the British back on April 19, 1775, and, incredibly so, the fight for the right of self-defense continues to this day. It is a new breed of Redcoat, yet their desires are just as tyrannical. What’s so perplexing is they are not a foreign enemy, but a domestic one. A domestic enemy that wishes to do as the British did, turn citizens into subjects.
The delusion and derangement of the progressive socialist left in America reminds me of this quote attributed to Roman statesman, Marcus Tulius Cicero:
The political party that we now know as the Democrat (socialist) Party has certainly proven that they are treasonous, traitorous, and an enemy within the gates of our Constitutional Republic . . . and they are certainly rotting the soul of our nation. And, one of the fools of this dangerous group of tyrants is poised to make an absurd declaration.
As reported by The Hill:
“Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) will reportedly announce next week that he is running for president in 2020 and will center his campaign around gun control.
The Atlantic reported Thursday that Swalwell will announce his plans during an appearance on CBS’s “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” where he will be joined by Cameron Kasky, a survivor of the 2018 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla.
Swalwell, who is hosting a town hall on gun control next week in Florida, did not confirm his plans to The Atlantic, but said he thinks gun control should be a top issue in 2020.
“We are doing a town hall in Parkland,” he told The Atlantic. “And I do believe that gun safety has to be a top 2020 issue.”
Needless to say, Rep. Swalwell refuses to grasp the truth that new gun laws, which only restrict law-abiding citizens, are not the answer to Parkland. The failure in Parkland was with the FBI, Broward County Sheriff’s office, the Broward County School Board — Operation Promise –and not with law-abiding gun owners. However, the tyranny of the left embraces the mantra of “never let a good crisis go to waste.” Thus, Rep. Swalwell will move about our nation with his sly whispers, that will go unchallenged, as he attempts to turn citizens into subjects.
Let me remind you: how did it come to pass that in Venezuela
people sheeple are being gunned down in the streets as they throw rocks? Simple, it was back in June 2012 that socialist dictator, Hugo Chavez, banned all private ownership of firearms. How did he do that? He used the sly whisper of ending gun violence . . . meaning enabling government gun violence. This is what those traitors like a Rep. Swalwell seek, and you have to ask, what Constitution did they take an oath to support and defend?
The progressive socialist left cannot institute their ideological domination as long as we can truly resist them. That means as long as we are citizens, armed, we are able to defend ourselves against any and all tyranny, foreign and domestic, from outside, and within our gates. And, never forget, this is the same California Rep. Eric Swalwell who alluded to using nukes against law-abiding, legal American gun owners. He is pondering running for President? Can you imagine the abject backlash against a Republican who hinted at dropping nukes on Antifa?
Swalwell believes gun control should be the number one issue in 2020. Well, let me reassure this chucklehead of something, I am the NRA and I am “Freedom’s safest place.” I will fight for our Second Amendment, along with all the other, individual rights guaranteed to us in our Constitution. The Spirit of the Minutemen lives on today in millions of courageous, resolute, and determined American men and women. Many will be represented by those attending the NRAAM the end of this month.Hey Eric, if you have the guts, show up, and let’s have a little debate before the members of the National Rifle Association. Instead of you running before a fawning audience of mindless lemmings who will allow you to blather on, come before us, and spew your vile rhetoric of disarming us and turning us from citizens into subjects.
I know your intent, and at least you have the foolish courage to admit it. Yes, you do believe that gun control should be the number one issue of 2020, because, unless you achieve this, you will never achieve your real goal, objective, desire, quest . . . the fundamental transformation of America by way of the domination of progressive socialism to mandate, coerce, intimidate, threaten, and yes commit violence against We the People.
Bad news brother, that dog don’t hunt . . . Molon Labe!
See ya in Indianapolis, Eric?
