Sadly, 12 Americans lost their lives unnecessarily due to the heinous actions of one person. But, as always, there was the rush to the Twitter microphone for them to chime in and give their ill-informed, politicized two cents on the matter. We continue to hear about how we must “end gun violence” in the United States. It’s strange, but I never hear anything of the sort from these chuckleheaded clowns after a weekend of mass shootings and deaths in Chicago, or any inner city. Not to mention that these are cities controlled by progressive socialists, where law-abiding Americans have been stripped of their Constitutional right to self-defense.
At some point — and I think we are there — we must recognize the utter hypocrisy of these members of the party of the jackass (how appropriate) who are clearly suffering from the sickness known as diarrhea of the mouth.
Here is a great example: Rep. Ilhan Omar blamed the NRA for the shooting. Full disclosure, I am a Patriot Life Benefactor and Board member of the National Rifle Association.
As reported by Fox News:
“The embattled Minnesota Democrat took a swipe at the NRA just hours after a disgruntled city employee went on a shooting spree that left 12 people dead and four more injured.
“I am outraged and heartbroken,” she wrote in a tweet. “How much longer will we ignore the pain of our communities? We need to immediately confront the power of the NRA and end the epidemic of gun violence in this country.”
DeWayne Craddock, the suspected shooter, died in a gunfight with police officers. He was a veteran employee of the Public Utilities Department who made multiple legal firearm purchases, including for a handgun and rifle, in recent weeks, the Wall Street Journal reported.
A police officer was also wounded, but was saved by his bullet-proof vest.
The police didn’t reveal the motive for the shooting.”
I would simply like to know what I, or any of the other nearly five million members of the National Rifle Association, have to do with what happened in Virginia Beach? I am saddened by it and horrified, but I must ask, based upon my reading, how was DeWayne Craddock, an educated, black professional engineer, able to enter into a municipal building with a firearm? Ya know, it’s kinda like the same question as to how Nidal Hasan was able to enter Ft. Hood, Texas, go into a personnel deployment processing center, and gun down unarmed soldiers, killing 13 and wounding another 31? Oh, but according to the wise and all-knowing Barack Hussein Obama, that was just “workplace violence” — even after Hasan admitted to being a “soldier of Allah.”
Doggone, what additional gun laws would have prevented Craddock’s despicable action? He had no previous criminal record. He legally purchased the firearms, semi-automatic handguns, used in his assault. What more laws are there needed in this case?
Once again, we have an issue with two things, mental instability, which no one obviously saw coming. As of my reading, I have not seen where Craddock was under seeing any professional for mental health issues, and that is a question on the BATF Form 4473. Yet, we continue to have these idiots, like Omar, and all these wannabe Democrat (socialist) Party presidential candidates chiming in on something about which they are ignorant and politically driven.
How about the next time we find a wannabe Islamic jihadist from Ilhan Omar’s congressional district we blame her? We all know that her Minnesota Fifth congressional district is ground zero for Somali Islamic jihadism. Please, Rep. Omar, tell me I am wrong that your peeps up there in Minneapolis are just peaceful, easy like Sunday morning, fellas?
Why is it that when we have these horrific shootings, darn near weekly — check out Memorial Day weekend in Chicago — no one blames the leadership there? How about the next time there is a DUI related vehicular homicide, we blame the alcohol distributor and the car manufacturer? Why not, after all, the beverage intoxicated the person, and the car was the means by which the victims were killed? And we do already have laws about drunk driving, so why not more laws to end drunk driving, which is more of a happenstance?
DeWayne Craddock is dead, so we may never understand the real motive behind his crime. Hey, what about blaming the NAACP? After all, Craddock was black. As a matter of fact, let’s blame the NAACP for all the gun violence we have in our inner cities committed by black males. Perhaps we have it all wrong here, it is not the firearm, but their skin color. Oh yeah, if we would just give them more slave reparations, that would take care of the situation.
Look, Kammy, Spartacus, Liawatha, Crazy Bernie, Butt-a-Judge, Smallwell, de Blahso, Illy-han, and the rest of you, gun control progressive socialists: we all know what you really want, the same as Hugo Chavez when he banned private gun ownership because he wanted to end gun violence. Now, the only violence is that of Nicolas Maduro’s “colectivos” roaming the streets and the Venezuelan army, murdering the disarmed people.
Address the criminal, the individual, heck, de Blahso is releasing young criminal felons, who have committed assault and battery using weapons, back onto the streets of NYC. And yet, he mandates, demands, that law abiding citizens not be afforded their Second Amendment right, you know Billy boy, that Bill of Rights thing.
De Blahso and Omar weren’t the only ones mouthing off about this tragedy. How abjectly hypocritical for ol’ Ralphie “Blackface” Northam to decry this, yet condemn babies to death in the womb.
DeWayne Craddock took advantage of the fact that he knew there were unarmed, innocent, employees there in that municipal building. Do any of you think that if he knew that those people had their Second Amendment right that he would have enacted this murderous rampage? Nah, he probably just would have sought out another vulnerable, “gun-free” killing field. Craddock found a gap, he exploited it, and now 12 people are needlessly dead. This is not about telling us we do not have the right to defend ourselves…I for one will, and there are many others. We must protect ourselves from criminals, the criminally ill, and the tyranny of the progressive socialists.
Let me close once again reminding these “useful idiots” what gun control means:
