It was not widely covered, but over the weekend, young Mollie Tibbetts was laid to rest in her hometown in Iowa. We can have all the debates that we want, but this tragic episode once again should give us concern about the State, our government, protecting its citizens. When we have anarchists, Antifa, taking to the streets chanting “no border, no wall, no USA at all,” what are we supposed to do? We have elected officials, and those seeking elected office, who wish to abolish the government agency charged with enforcing our laws on immigration. We have elected officials who are declaring their jurisdictions as “sanctuary,” whether state or city, for those within our borders illegally. What are law-abiding citizens supposed to do when they can clearly ascertain that ideological agendas take precedence over their safety and security?

I find it interesting that the violence surrounding this issue is coming from the progressive socialist left. They are the ones in America who are protesting, threatening, and even attacking our law enforcement agents — such as the college professor who disclosed the home addresses of ICE agents. But, there is a different reaction elsewhere.

As reported by Reuters:

“Germany will not tolerate “vigilante justice”, Chancellor Angela Merkel’s spokesman said on Monday, after hundreds of far right protesters staged a violent demonstration following a fatal stabbing that authorities blamed on a Syrian and an Iraqi. Sunday’s protest in the eastern city of Chemnitz was the latest manifestation of unrest since Merkel’s government allowed about 1 million [Muslim] asylum seekers to enter Germany in 2015, triggering a shift to the right in German politics. Television news channels broadcast amateur footage of skinheads chasing a foreign-looking man through the streets. Other clips showed hundreds of demonstrators shouting “We are the people!”, a slogan used by far-right supporters. Police said around 800 demonstrators had taken to the streets on Sunday, hours after one man was killed and two other people were injured in the stabbing incident overnight.

Police said the stabbing occurred after a row, but gave no further details. Local prosecutors said on Monday they had arrested two suspects, a 22-year-old Syrian man and a 21-year-old Iraqi man. No additional details were immediately available about the two men. Authorities have described the victim as a 35-year-old German man, and said two other German men, aged 33 and 38, were also injured. “We don’t tolerate such unlawful assemblies and the hounding of people who look different or have different origins, and attempts to spread hatred on the streets,” Merkel’s spokesman Steffen Seibert told a regular news briefing. “That has no place in our cities and we, as the German government, condemn it in the strongest terms,” he said. “Our basic message for Chemnitz and beyond is that there is no place in Germany for vigilante justice, for groups that want to spread hatred on the streets, for intolerance and for extremism.”

I do not condone any level of street violence, from any side, but let’s ask the very pertinent question again: what do law-abiding citizens do when its government, the State, does not protect them? This is not about an isolated incident, this is a long occurring trend that has been happening since Chancellor Angela Merkel’s ill-conceived action, which has had collateral impact on other western European countries. It was not too long ago that Merkel admitted to “no go zones” within Germany, where law enforcement officials did not patrol. This is a phenomenon that has occurred elsewhere in Europe. It means there’s more than a lack of assimilation, but rather a very hostile, violent, response from these so-called “asylum seekers” toward their hosts. All across Europe there are those who fear for their lives, especially once evening comes. We cannot hide from the fact that there has been an increase in sexual assaults in Europe since this mass migration, Al Hijra. So, what does Angela Merkel, and the German government, expect? Remember, there is no such thing as a Second Amendment right for German citizens. Not only have they become targets, they are also subjects.

How interesting the juxtaposition with the left in America protesting — violently — to allow people into America illegally. In Germany, it is the left condemning the right for taking to the streets to protest yet another instance of a citizen being assaulted, in this case killed. Here in America, we have elected officials supporting policies to undermine our border security, and safety in our communities. The left here in America doesn’t want law enforcement officials to do their jobs. Over in Germany, the left does not want law enforcement to go into certain areas to do their jobs. The progressive socialist leftists on both sides of the Atlantic ocean prefer flooding our countries with illegals, allowing them sanctuary, preventing our law enforcement from taking action, and enabling innocent people, like Mollie Tibbetts, Kate Steinle, Jamiel Shaw II, or the gentleman from Germany, along with countless women to be killed, stabbed, sexually assaulted, and forever harmed.

What are the people supposed to do, just sit back and allow the leftist ideological agenda to happen? Sit back and watch their sovereign nations be undermined and destroyed, all the while fearing for their lives on the streets? Doesn’t the progressive socialist left in Germany recognize the threats and dangers of Islamic jihadists who have embedded themselves, along with gangs of military aged Muslim males, in these numbers? Here in America we are told by some leftist leaders that gangs such as MS-13 possess a “spark of divinity.” Really?

People can only be pushed so far, and it appears that in Germany, they have been pushed far enough. The left here in America is pushing their open borders agenda to the detriment of our personal safety and security — and they want our Second Amendment gone.

What should law-abiding citizens do when government does not protect them? First of all, do not be relegated to the diminished status of subject. Second, always be at the ready to defend yourself. Lastly, vote out those who would promote and advance illegals, and establish policies favorable to them as part of the progressive socialist left ideological agenda.

For you Old School Patriots, the reason those in Germany took to the streets is because they have, sadly, recognized that they are no longer citizens, just targets, serfs, those whom the State has deemed not deserving protection. How telling that Merkel and her government show more indignation about the protest, than the reason for the protest — the German government’s inability to provide safety, and security, for German citizens.
