Some may say it is too early to speak about President Trump winning reelection. I do not think so, especially when the important aspect is to study trends. If there is one thing that we all should despise it’s the hypocrisy in the application of justice.
Right now, the progressive socialist left is on fire over the lack of their desired results from the Robert Mueller special counsel investigation, after more than two full years. Some on the left continue to refer to President Trump as a “Russian agent” and rant on about having evidence of “collusion.” All this is happening while the real collusion with Russia, with evidence, is dismissed. It is much the same with the left’s rhetoric about a “manufactured crisis” at our southern border, and having judicial activists seeking to stymie the President’s enumerated executive powers at every turn.
Sadly, the progressive socialist left speaks in their own mind-numbing echo chambers and continues to pursue unicorns. In the meantime, truth, and fully uncovered examples of their lying, deceit, and obsession with control and ideological domination are being more and more recognized . . . to their delusional dismay.
There is no greater example of the idiocy of the progressive socialist left than what is happening in the Windy City, Chicago. Yes, Chicago, the home of Saul Alinsky, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Louis Farrakhan, David Plouffe, Valerie Jarrett, David Axelrod, Jesse Jackson — I could go on, but I think you have the gist of my thoughts. Chicago, that is the home of a black genocide when one considers the shootings and murders taking place. Hmm, heard from Black Lives Matter on the issue?
It is in Chicago where yet another travesty of justice has taken place, and a divisive one at that. The leftist media would like nothing more than for us to forget the name, Jussie Smollett. You remember, the fella who told us that two white men at 2 am on a frigid -10 degree night wearing MAGA hats in downtown Chicago verbally and physically accosted him with racist and anti-gay slurs, threw bleach on him and put a noose around his neck. Well, we know the rest of that story — a rainbow and skittles fantasy indeed — that was debunked by the Chicago PD. The result was sixteen felony counts brought against Smollett that were somehow just dropped by the Cook County States Attorney, Kim Foxx, who had been in contact with the former Chief of Staff to Michelle Obama. The same Kim Foxx who lied about recusing herself, as she made the unilateral decision to drop all charges against Smollett. He got off with just a few hours of community service with Jesse Jackson’s Rainbow Coalition and forfeiture of $10K.
Yes, folks are angry, and rightfully so. Smollett’s antics were a purposeful attempt to instigate racial hatred and division. Kim Foxx’s deranged actions have served to intensify those sentiments. I suppose Smollett got what he wanted, after all.
But what is now more damning and ugly is that those demanding the right and fair application of justice have resorted to their same ol’ race-baiting assertions.
As reported by the Chicago Tribune:
“After a week of heated protests and calls for her resignation, Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx and African-American leaders condemned Chicago’s police union and defended how the prosecutor’s office addressed an actor’s alleged hate crime hoax.
Foxx vowed to remain at her post during a Saturday news conference, despite intense controversy sparked in March when her office dropped a 16-count indictment that accused television actor Jussie Smollett of orchestrating a racist and homophobic attack on himself to advance his career.
Foxx declined to address “the substance of the case” with reporters gathered at the Rev. Jesse Jackson’s Rainbow/PUSH Coalition headquarters, though she’s faced mounting pressure to specify why Smollett’s prosecution was so quickly abandoned. But U.S. Rep. Bobby Rush, activist Ja’Mal Green, Jackson and a group of other Foxx supporters blamed the city’s Fraternal Order of Police for a Monday confrontation over the Smollett case that displayed some of the city’s racial and political divisions.
“The FOP is the sworn enemy of black people, the sworn enemy of black people,” said Rush, who drew criticism in the city’s mayoral election when he suggested supporters of Mayor-elect Lori Lightfoot would have the blood of African-American youth killed by the police on their hands.
“The FOP has always taken the position that black people can be shot down in the street by members of the Chicago Police Department, and suffer no consequences,” Rush said, as an aide approached Foxx and the state’s attorney stepped out of television cameras’ view. “Let’s be clear: Kim Foxx, her battle, is with the FOP and all of their cohorts.”
Do you mean to tell me that the explanation of this centers around an act of retribution? How is it that a US Congressman cannot grasp that someone was tried, and, based upon the evidence, acquitted? This smells like a repeat of Michael Brown case again, and anger over not getting the desired results.
The typical race hustlers are circling the wagons around someone who lied and has certainly compromised her position as an objective, disinterested party, State’s Attorney Kim Foxx. Shameful that she would play the “race card,” but no one can really be credible playing their own “incompetence card,” can they?
To call the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) the “enemy of black people” is absurd. Does that mean that Smollett is the “enemy of white people” based upon his actions? It does appear that the goal of Smollett’s hoax was to demonize, denigrate, and disparage not just white people, but specifically President Trump supporters.
Now, go figure, at a time when blacks are gunning down blacks at record rates in Chicago, Bobby Rush comes out and attacks the FOP as the enemy of black people? Sir, the history of the Democrat Party in America clearly reveals who has been, is, and probably will continue to be, the enemy of black people. Under President Trump — not Obama — black unemployment rate has dropped, and wages increased. Under President Trump — not Chicago native Obama — has there been criminal justice reform signed into law.
But as if the words of Bobby Rush were not enough, a former mayoral candidate in Chicago, Ja’Mal Green referred to the FOP and Chicago Police as the “Blue Ku Klux Klan.”
What is truly disconcerting is that it all of this was done at Jesse Jackson’s Rainbow Coalition headquarters, where I suppose Smollett did his community service. When these words were spoken, Kim Foxx was present and said nothing. How can a State’s Attorney, a prosecutor, have the confidence of law enforcement if she is standing with race hustlers, castigating law enforcement as equal to the KKK . . . an organization, mind you, founded by the Democrat Party?
This is just another example of why the progressive socialist left is securing President Trump’s reelection. While the left panders to blacks, pledging reparations, this hypocrisy and abject racism is apparent.
If the left has not noticed, there are many in the Hispanic community who do not want to be associated with the political party that cares little about their safety and security, preferring to pander to illegal immigrants.
There is a great possibility that Donald Trump may win the most ever black and Hispanic electorate support for a GOP presidential candidate. The actions of these folks in Chicago is despicable, and it will be interesting to see how the new Chicago mayor will handle this powder keg.
Jussie Smollett has somewhat accomplished what he sought to do with his hoax . . . create racial division. But, it is a division that will not benefit the Democrat (socialist) Party.
